Payment Methods

The order amount will be captured from your account as soon as your order has been placed. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us and we will issue a refund back to your account. Easy returns – if something doesn’t fit, just return it to us for an exchange or refund.


The following payments are accepted:

Credit card
You can pay by Visa and Mastercard. Visa and Mastercard are verified by a secure code. Payment is debited from your card once you place the order.

Payment apps

You can pay via Paypal and Bancontact.

This means that no banking information regarding the Customer transits via the website.

Payment is therefore secure by the partners in charge of managing financial transaction.


The order will then be recorded and validated on acceptance of the payment by the banking service.


Changing or cancelling your order

For details on your 14 days right of return, please see the Returns Policy section of the website. This section details your statutory rights of cancellation.


You have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund provided you notify us in writing as set out below that you are exercising this right of cancellation no later than fourteen working days (i.e. excluding weekends and bank holidays) beginning with the day after you received your goods.

Please note that if you fail to take reasonable care of returned goods or fail to return the goods to us, we will be entitled to make a claim against you for any losses which we suffer.

If your goods are faulty or do not meet the description given on the site, we will refund the value of your order for those goods. For more information on how to return goods to us please refer to the Return Policy section of the site.

We recommend that returned goods be sent via insured, traceable delivery for your protection.

Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

• Difficulty in processing your payment information
• Cannot ship to address provided
• Duplicate order was placed

If your order is cancelled by us, you will receive an email which will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. For shipping to the Benelux region, we use the shipping services from Bpost and DHL services. For shipping to Europe other than the Benelux region and Germany, we use the DHL services. For shipping to all other countries, please contact us at for shipping services and rates.


What about the payment of duties and taxes?

All orders are sent on a Delivery Duties Paid Service, so no additional customs or taxes will be charged on delivery.

The prices of products are expressed in Euros inclusive of taxes but excluding customs duties.


The Prices of Products are expressed in Euros, inclusive of taxes and excluding customs duties, for orders outside of the EU that shall be borne by the Customer.

For orders outside of the EU :

All applicable duties shall be borne by the customer. Unfortunately we cannot estimate how much duties you will pay but your local customs should be able to estimate the price.

When will your order be delivered?

The delivery date of your order is depending on the making process. All jewels are made upon ordering. If you want more information about the estimated time of a particular jewel, please send an e-mail to regarding your question. It takes between 1 to 6 weeks before your order will be ready for shipment.

During busy periods, such as the holiday season, shipping and delivery may take longer. If you have not received your order within the number of days we communicated, then please consult the status of the shipment through the tracking number that you received before contacting us at



If your order is very urgent then please let us know in advance at We will sort out if we can ensure that your order gets to its destination in time. Please keep in mind that additional shipment costs may be charged.


Can you collect your order from the e-shop in our store (Mechelen)?

Yes! Please, pop by during the opening hours and we will refund your shipping cost the same day or you can specify an alternate daytime delivery address when ordering, for example your work address (recommended).




tess de meerleer insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you. All orders require signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility for the shipment passes to you. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfilment by tess de meerleer .

All orders are shipped with Bpost and DHL and are fully traceable on their website. You can always contact them if you have questions regarding your shipment.
